Update: Homeward Bound

YOU GUYS. I DID THE THING.

20160929_144337.jpg

I hiked 2,650 miles, from Mexico to Canada, on the PCT. Plus some bonus miles in there. And then some extra to Manning Park at the end.

Holy crap.

I’d have had more updates for you recently, but Northern Washington is not exactly cell-phone friendly. As such, starting Monday, October 3rd, I’ll have at least one update a day – Monday through Friday at the very least – until I reach the end of the telling.

I’m stoked to share the rest of my hike with you.

Also, since y’all followed through on the fundraiser part – which you can still donate to – allow me to follow through on the dancing part:

Until Monday!

Well done girl! Very well done indeed! I have been following you for quite a while now – and am so very happy for you that you made it!! YOU MADE IT! Actually, you would not believe, but I did shed a few tears when I saw your image at the monument just now. Your smile/expression is priceless. Again, well done – I am happy for you! Regards from Switzerland!

Congratulations on completing the PCT. Enjoyed reading your journal so much that I also read your CT journal. What’s next for you? The CDT?

What an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations are well-deserved. I am really looking forward to reading about the rest of your journey in hopes that it is research for my own thru hike sometime in the not-too-distant future. Love the look of pure joy on your face in that photo!

Big hug and congratulations! I read every posting of you and – after such a long silence was afraid, you quit. So I’m looking very much forward to read the rest about your great adventure. I LOVE your pictures, esp. those which show the trail with the sourroundings! Makes me feel to be on the trail myself. Regards from Germany.
